The Infocus LP335 nice projector only had one problem with this model and it was on the horizontal drive sorry to say it was mother board replacement.
The Sony VPL-CS1 I have had a few faults with this model, intermitant lamp operation and no it's not the lamp but the lamp driver module. And the other fault is flashing protection with no operation I found this to be dry joints on the main internal system board that runs behind main engine crossways. Also had the small internal board pop out that sits front left sorry can not remember it's function this also causes flashing error protection.
The Sony VPL-CX5 projector only had one problem with this model (dead).Found this to be nothing more then the main internal in line main DC current resistor I think it was around 10 ohm's and it had gone open circuit no short was found on main power supply etc so it must of been one of those mains shunts.
The Sanyo VPL-XF10 you may laugh but I love this model I know it's big but it's a reliable working machine I have had a couple of faults with this model.Intermitantly dead replace the internal current resistors in main power supply if it blows it again replace the main current detection IC this is the one that sits on the waffer board in the main oscillator primary section.
The Infocus LP290, had a couple of nasty faults with this model the main one is when customers forget to take the lens cap off and it burns up the main internal optical RGB filters thus leaving a distorted image for good projected on screen and getting replacments is a joke so dont forget to take your lens cap off.
The Optoma EP755 projector I have had only one problem with this and one other model and it sounds like noisey fans but it's worse then that it is the main internal optical disc unit simply because it is in a small working engine and it runs very hot inside thus cooking up the bearings I will say thoe a very big thanks to this company I found them very helpfull.Thank the lord that it comes with a three year warranty so keep your receipt.

The Infocus LP-340 only had one problem with this model (dead).Warning replace that bloody lamp when you get the hours counter come up because you will have the unit self distruct blowing the main ballast section of the unit and try getting spare parts scrap it might be the better word.
